Golfing near Villa Los Pulus The Costa del Sol is a golfers haven, even nicknamed the Costa del Golf officially. There are several magnificent golf courses within virtual putting distance from the villa. The area of Nueva Andalucia is known as Golf Valley quite justifiably, with all the areas premier golf courses located within this Valley very near the Villa Los Pulus. Nearby golf courses include Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, Aloha Golf, La Quinta and La Dama de Noche, which is floodlit for night time play, all within a five-minute drive from Villa Los Pulus All the Nueva Andalucia golf courses are surrounded by stunning scenery with a backdrop of mountains. These and other nearby golf courses are accessible within minutes
Los Naranjos opened in 1977 and has just undergone a programme of improvement including new greens and a computer-controled irrigation systems. Like many Robert Trent Jones designs it features long terraced tees and large undulating greens, thought the broad sweeping fairways of the front nine holes are significantly different from the back nine with their extensive orange groves from which the course gets its name. La Quinta is situated in "The Golf Valley" with panoramic views of mountains and the Marbella coastline. It actually consists of three courses. A very demanding course due to the clever design of the fairways and the excellent quality of the greens. La Quinta is one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the Valle de Golf. This course is marked by constantly changing levels, sharp falls, large bunkers and isolated greens.
